Weekend exploring the Shotley Peninsular, East Suffolk

I love the north Norfolk coast. Used to live there and now just visit regularly. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the big cities and superb for watersports, cycling, walking and especially kiting. Of course there are great seafoods, especially mussels, oysters and lobster, with a huge range of local real ales.

A short evening stroll allowed me to take all these pictures, Llandod is a great place to just wander and discover.

"First Light" is an isolated 'island' of countryside and coastline in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which surrounds the lovely seaside village of St. Margaret's-at-Cliffe with it's secluded cove at St. Margaret's Bay. Located close to the bustling port of Dover in the heart of White Cliffs Country
