When I went to New York last year I will begrudgingly admit that I got a bit excited about seeing the bull statue from the film Hitch. After seeing the long line of people waiting to have their picture taken with the bull (why??!!) It made me realise that people do travel to certain locations/countries to see a place that's appeared on a film/been on TV. 'The Beach' in Thailand is probably a perfect example.

Anyone else been lured by an exotic film location?

 Ever since watching Slumdog millionaire I have been keen to go to India. there wasn't so many pretty sights in teh film, but it was the colours and hustle and bustle that attracted me.
